Back Stage Wins Three Folio Awards
Back Stage has won three 2011 Folio Awards, which honor the best in magazine editorial content and design.Back Stage won the gold awards for the best use of illustration in a business-to-business publication with a circulation of under 100,000 for its June 2010 Readers' Choice Awards issue and for best business-to-business website. The magazine also won a silver award for best full issue of a business-to-business publication in media, entertainment, or publishing for its February 2011 issue on branding.The awards, presented by Folio magazine, were announced at a ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in NY City on Tuesday."I am thrilled that the Folio Awards have recognized Back Stage for its excellence in editorial and design," said Back Stage editor-in-chief Jamie Painter Young. "Indeed, Back Stage's staff strives for excellence, and to be acknowledged for this is greatly appreciated and exciting."The Folio Awards are the magazine industry's largest contest celebrating editorial and design excellence. For more than 20 years, they have recognized work in all sectors of the industry, including business-to-business, consumer, association, regional, and custom media.Back Stage also won the Folio Award for best business-to-business media, entertainment, or publishing website in 2009.
